"I Now Know"

I needed to try out some color work since I had a request for a piece in color. I am not very happy with the outcome. I think I would have liked it more in black and white. But I am not creating it for me. So here it is with all the steps in between.

SDC-Inspired

It seems every time I'm around great live music I get inspired to create something of my own. This has absolutely nothing to do with Street Drum Corps but, nonetheless, it is inspired by their music. Which to me is fun, sexy and a little freaky!

This piece was made for my close friend Rori. The little girl in the photo is hers. This moment was captured on Rori and Joe's wedding day.

Dhani Harrison

I'm still practicing drawing men. To say I admire Dhani Harrison is the understatement of the century. I am not totally satisfied with how it turned out. In fact, I think it looks more like George Harrison. I am a perfectionist and I am trying to teach myself that it's okay not to be perfect.  Also, I have to learn when to quit. So here it is.  The first of hopefully many.

Realistically, this should be referred to as "Dhani/George Hybrid" or "Dhani 2043" lol

Jeremy Faccone and Pug

I really want, and need, to practice drawing men. I've always massacred their faces, either making them too feminine or too sharp. My subject/victim this time is Jeremy Faccone from the band thenewno2. I follow Jeremy on Instagram and it's extremely evident that his pug is his absolute best friend and he cherishes him(?) *I'm unsure the gender or name of the dog. So, here it is. I hope you enjoy and I hope if Jeremy sees it he likes it.
